Now that Boulevard Urgent Care & Family Medicine is under new management, the practice has drastically improved. Dr. Mac is no longer with the practice, and has been replaced with Dr. Barhoush who is a wonderful physician. I recommend anyone in the area to visit this practice.
I would not go to Dr. Macaluso for anything. I used to go there and have over heard her being not so nice to the staff. Almost belittling them. I wouldn't trust her to treat any member of my family. She is two faced!
Dr. Mac was my doctor when I lived in Ocala in 2007. It's now been 7 years and I am yet to find a better doctor or a more caring person. She correctly diagnosed and successfully treated a medical issue I had dealt with for several years due to the ineptness of my previous doctors. She is still the best doctor I've ever had.
Boulevard Urgent Care is a fast, clean, and accurate health care facility. Dr. Christina Macaluso is the best and I use her facility in cases where I cannot get in to see my GP. You will have no waiting for hours (like some of the urgent care places.) The cleanliness of this place is awesome, no grungy tables or rooms. I had a broken toe and she didnt do anything helpful for me. just told me to take ibuprofen. what a joke.
I don't always take the time that I should to give praise to those who deserve it but I Love this place, especially Dr. Christina Macaluso and I don't want others to hesitate if needing her services to use Blvd Urgent Care. I do not have insurance and Dr. Macaluso cares and takes this into consideration when giving me info and when prescribing my medications. This doc is so wonderful! She is very caring and takes the time needed to discuss your every need! There is no waiting for hours to get in....they are very professional and fast! Best Urgent Care I have EVER been too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I visited this Clinic 1/23/13 and found the attending Doctor good however the front dest supervisor would not take my MEDCARE/CHAMPUS and I had to pay by using my DISCOVER Card. In February I called and was told after they receive the payment invoice I had already received they would credit back my DISCOVER Card. I called again on 9 April and the Office Manager was not in and was to return my call 10 April 13 and that did not happen.
