It was nice to visit St. Joseph and finally be able to stay here! The restaurant was open Sunday night so I had dinner there and the free breakfast next morning was a great perk. Silver Beach is a short walk down the steps for amazing sunsets and surprisingly the city view suite came with amazing sunrises. I was also able to leave my car in the parking lot after checkout to stop by some shops downtown. The staff I interacted with were great. Definitely planning to stay here again!
I can't say enough positive things about this hotel! My elderly mom and I were very comfortable here for 4 nights just after Labor Day. We made a lot of use of the livingroom, fridge, microwave; and the king bed was very comfortable. Both rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The windows open - a rare treat in a hotel. And their soundproofing is excellent. We had a lake view from the 5th floor. Below that, trees might block the view for some rooms.
