Do they owe me for MY time? I was sent home from my first visit because I was 10 minutes late. Was 10 minutes early for my second visit--waited over an hour...and after being told they didn't have a room, I left after another 15 minutes of waiting. The receptionist is very rude.... Went to another Dr!!!
Dr. Williams and Boulder Orthopedics is the BEST! I am a nurse and worked at the local hospital for years. I know all the orthopedic surgeons, and Dr. Williams Rocks! He is an amazing and caring doctor, and my family and all my friends go to him. Even most of the nurses I work with go to him. I know how billing works, and there is NO WAY the guy who left the one star got charged $1000 at Boulder Orthopedic and $20 at Dr. Wertz's office! All the Doctors at Boulder Orthopedics are the best in Boulder County!
Terrible billing!! I saw Dr. Williams for a simple very minor ankle fracture (as my regular orthopedic surgeon told me later, he could barely see it), and they charged me for 3 months fracture care without evening telling me! This means, in their words, a $1,000 bill for simply looking at my ankle. The doctors here may be decent doctors, however their billing methods are the exact reason why insurance premiums are so high.
