This cozy, English style country inn, located in the heart of the shopping district near the historic Goss-Grove neighborhood, has the honor of being Boulder's first bed and breakfast. The distinctive rooms feature individual designs, along with private baths, antique furniture, original art and fresh flowers. The Honeymoon and Anniversary rooms also have wood burning fireplaces. they messed up our reservation, but made it up to us When we stayed at the Briar Rose (on our wedding night), it was under new management and service was inconsistent. We were told we could check in early, but when we arrived, no one was available to check us in. They double booked our room and had to move us. To their credit, though, the room was very nice, they brought us a very nice breakfast in bed and gave us a gift certificate to make up for the poor service. They seemed sincerely apologetic.
