If I could give negative reviews I would. The people in the offfice don't communicate at all. Resulting in my car being towed and me being charged I've 300 dollars for something I thought was taken care of when I went in there more than 5 times. Apparently the message wasent given to the manager. Not only that, we got kicked out and I asked why and they said they don't have to provide a reason. A horrible place to live, the kids run around all over the place like its little Mexico, and the cops are always here (not just for patrol either). It takes forever for maintenance to fix something (if they ever do) and do a horrible job of it. They started replacing windows and siding in some apartments, but of course they are the ones when you first enter the place to make prospective tenants think it looks like a nice place to live. the landlord is awful and uses intimidation tactics to get people to do things. she also very much abuses her authority, and the rent is very expensive. the units are not super low qaulity upon first look but be prepared for doors to fall off hinges and, bad half assed remodels. oh and get ready to pay over a grand for it a month.
Been here almost 2 years and have never missed a payment for rent but once, and got a 60 day no reason eviction notice. The managers (husband and wife) will do what they want and please. The husband came into the apartment 3 times with no permission or without warning or cause to come in. Do not rent from here. They put on a front then screw you over. I will never rent from these people or from norris and stevensons.
DO NOT RENT THERE! Horrible management and horrible move out experience! Never again!
I feel this is a very beautiful place to live. I have lived here for 9 1/2 yrs. The management and staff are helpful, efficient, and respectful. I feel like they are all my friends. The environment is woodsy and wonderful. I see elk, deer, coyotes and other wildlife on a daily basis. Eagles fly overhead much of the time. I walk my dog every day in a park like setting. The apartments are safe and cozy. I love all my neighbors. I recommend Emerald Heights very highly, especially to old people who value a peaceful place to live... read more
I lived at Mountain View for five years in three different units: a one bedroom (when I was single), a two-bedroom flat, and finally, a two-bedroom townhouse. If you don't mind that the apartments are located on the south end of town (a few miles from city center), you'll enjoy the location. They are in a nice neighborhood and right next to the lovely Willamette Park, where you can walk/bike next to the river. The property managers here are rude and try to cheat you. Horrible people to deal with that are extremely nosey and bossy. Avoid this place like the plague
