Had a wisdom tooth pulled and was told by Dr. Bouffard that I also need the tooth next to it remove. It left half of my tongue completely and permanently numb. He severed my lingual nerve. Total hack! Would not recommend AT ALL!
I can't believe I'm inspired to write a review about oral surgery, but I am! I recently had somewhat major work done by Dr. Bouffard - both an Osseous Surgery and a Connective Tissue Graft. I was *sure* that I'd be in pain and miserable for at least two weeks. I was also certain that I'd not be able to tolerate the procedure with only local anesthesia. It's obvious where I'm going here...the procedure took over an hour, but the time truly flew by. I didn't hear or feel a thing. Plus, I had no pain after. Zero. And I only too... read more

I was referred to Doctor Bouffard for wisdom teeth extraction. He was very professional and not only took the time to explain the procedure but also to reassure and to make me comfortable throughout the entire process. After the extraction and during the recovery, I experienced very little pain making the need for strong pain relief medication unnecessary. I would strongly recommend Doctor Bouffard for periodontic dentistry.
