Valerie is an extremely talented mediator with superb communication skills. She keeps her clients well informed of what is to be expected in terms of creating a separation agreement and preparing for court. She is professional, even in sticky situations, and has a great sense of humor, which is helpful in difficult times. The Valley is lucky to have Valerie as a resource and I highly recommend her.
Unprofessional at best. Unethical. Documented untrue statements with strong cognitive bias. Unable to be objective, lacks skill or energy or desire needed to evaluate child health, safety, wellness. Unable to suspend personal opinions necessary to do her job as a child’s attorney. Demeaning and rude which all distracts from the most important thing; which was to protect the child.
Attorney Botter has represented and advised me through an unfortunately acrimonious divorce with an admirable amount of compassion and composure. Valerie represented me during a marathon 3 1/2 year custody/removal litigation that culminated in a 4 day trial. The court ultimately ruled in my favor, and I attribute that directly to Valerie. She was meticulous, thorough, highly skilled, responsive, and most importantly, not afraid to point out my blind spots, and help me put the children's interest first when by its very nature, litigation can obscure judgement.
