Our A/C broke during a heat wave. Botetourt Mechanical was assigned to us through our home warranty, and they got it up and running again!
I was assigned this company through American Home Shield. They do not answer phone calls. You have to converse purely through text. I wouldn't mind that if they actually arrived... Scheduled a week out for a Central AC/not cooling in the middle of summer in 80+ weather. They said 8-12.. No show.. Can't reach them via call of text. Had to get AHS involved for them to contact me. According to AHS they said they would be there by 3pm. Instead I got text messages that strung be along until 7pm... They told me I would have to wai... read more

Mike came out to install a mini split in my home. He installed the unit with the drain line sloping up. He left quite the gap between the wall and the unit which is how I could see the line going up in the first place. He then zip tied the line on the other side of the wall going upwards!!! That’s 2 heavy slopes, upwards. The brand new unit is obviously not draining at all. I’m not an HVAC technician but I understand gravity and water will not flow upwards without a pump.
