I was assigned this company through American Home Shield. They do not answer phone calls. You have to converse purely through text. I wouldn't mind that if they actually arrived... Scheduled a week out for a Central AC/not cooling in the middle of summer in 80+ weather. They said 8-12.. No show.. Can't reach them via call of text. Had to get AHS involved for them to contact me. Mike came out to install a mini split in my home. He installed the unit with the drain line sloping up. He left quite the gap between the wall and the unit which is how I could see the line going up in the first place. He then zip tied the line on the other side of the wall going upwards!!! That’s 2 heavy slopes, upwards. The brand new unit is obviously not draining at all. I’m not an HVAC technician but I understand gravity and water will not flow upwards without a pump. Boutetort Mechanical has been the most unreliable company we have ever dealt with. Initially, we thought they were great. Mike came and put Freon in our unit and we all thought the situation was resolved. It turned out it wasn’t, so we put in another work order for a follow up through our warranty company. This is where the problems began. After waiting patiently for two weeks, as we were told they were buried with emergency calls during a heat wave, I finally emailed to see if we could get on their schedule. No response. They worked with my warranty provider to expedite my call due to us having a two week old baby and No AC on the hottest day of the year (that's when it always goes out, right?). Mike was out within 2 hours and had it running again in about an hour. Highly recommend them.
