Great place to watch the jets games
Very easy to navigate with helpful staff. Right off the highway and super close to South Station. Take the Silver Line there for free
At the departure area, in any Terminal, we find buses to lots of cities in the vicinity, including Cape Cod. Very easy to reach Boston by subway. Nothing in the boarding area, though. no shops.
There's a Pinkberry in the C terminal close to gate C 11. Grab a treat while waiting for your flight. If you haven't had Pinkberry, it is yummy and tart and most flavors are gluten free.

The Virgin America gate is laughable. Get food, etc before you get pass security b/c after that you're gonna be out of luck.
