I've been to 3 music recitals. All 3 were excellent.
I attended previews for "A Streetcar Named Desire" last night. Terrific production. Acting, staging, music all terrific. Jaimi Paige's "Blanche" was brilliant. The only issue I have was the final act rape scene which was portrayed almost as consensual sex. I believe it is very important to Blanche's final breakdown for this scene to be portrayed the way William's wrote it - Rape. Hopefully this will be changed for official opening. All and all a wonderful show though! Bravo!
