Lots of Fun but a Little Sketchy Those of you that like Candlepin bowling will certainly have a blast at Boston Bowl. It is really cheap and even cheaper Tuesday-Friday 6 to 11. They also have regular size, or bog ball bowling, but I do not think that is as much fun (personal preference really). The clientele, however, is not what you'd call 'classy.' Fun stuff I think you can look for coupon, if you are really thinking of playing bowling at this area. They seldom offer a coupon where you can get a free game. I would say it is the best bowling place at boston. Kind of hard to find where it is. But once you find it, you will always come back.
Good, but hard to get to This is a great place to go on a Friday night with your friends, but if you're like most people in the city, (or if you are a college student from out of state), transportation can be a big problem. Though they have tried to make it easier by offering a shuttle bus at the T stop, the whole process takes a little too long for the amount of time you spend actually playing. They offer a really fun time for everyone, but Jillian's might be better suited for convenience.
