We were a group of five and had dinner here on a Friday night. The croquettes we had for appetizers were great, especially with the accompanying sauce, but the empanadas barely had any filling. One of them was even empty! The mains were disappointing for everyone - the feijoada and moqueca were very bland and the picanha steaks were overcooked and tasted like charcoal. Very good food and quality. Service was great and efficient. Recommend. I don't give good reviews easily. This was worth. UPDATE: I am changing my review. This place is not very Brazilian anymore. Less than 50% of the food items are Brazilian now, and it's mostly typical Canadian food, which is fine if it's not the majority. The food itself is good. I'm mostly upset there isn't cassava fries anymore!
I know its tough to serve culturally authentic dishes and maintain a steady clientele, if there isn't a large local population, you're targeting. Overall, it's a pretty good mix of Brazilian and Canadian cuisine. My wife is Brazilian, and although the presentation of the feijoada was nice, she wasn't particularly fond of the taste.
