I had a brake fluid flush done here yesterday and paid $150 in cash. They told me it would be $150 with no tax if I paid cash, so I agreed. However, when I asked for a receipt afterward, I was told, “You paid cash!”—even though I could clearly see a receipt sitting on the desk.
