I think I knew more then he did sometimes. He is very courteous but he didn’t really investigate in depth my concerns. The Nurse practioners were the worst!
He is amazing! My mom was truly suffering and honestly her medications were a mess! Just all over the board. She was on over 20 different medications and he straightened it all out and had her feeling much better! He is soo kind and really listens and cares! I have since taken my father to him and my dad is a huge fan now as well! 81 and not on a single medication. He has made their quality of life so much better!

An awesome doctor who is not only knowledgeable and proactive but really cares about his patients. He has the heart of a teacher. Took time to explain what was going to happen and why. Took my mom who was in a downward spiral and turned it completely around. I highly recommend him.
My surgeon forgot to order diabetic checks after surgery. She discharged me and two days later, I was re-admitted by Dr. Carr with severe ketoacidosis, failing kidneys, and high heart enzymes. Dr. Borrego became my doctor at Northside and literally saved my life. After being discharged a second time, Dr. Borrego followed my progress until I was well. I can't thank him enough for saving my life.
