I highly recommend a prenatal consultation with Emily. She is easy to talk to and full of helpful information. This is our second baby but it was so helpful to understand what went sideways the first time around and we feel so much more prepared after meeting with her. You can tell Emily loves what she does and I have so much peace knowing the Bornwell team offers home visits for lactation support.
I was instantly comfortable with Meredith Kennedy. She was able to ease my anxiety about my milk production and come up with a plan to help my son gain weight and stock up for when I return to work. Highly recommend Bornwell if you’re struggling with breastfeeding.
I can’t say enough good things about Bornwell and working with Emily. I came to her as I approached having my second baby since I had major supply issues with my first that no one was able to help me figure out (I wish I knew about Emily then!). Someone pointed me to work with Emily and I met with her probably 4 times and she was encouraging, informative, and gave me all the tools I needed. We recently completed the newborn course, and it was an excellent experience. Carson was a great teacher, knowledgeable, patient, and engaging. The course covered everything from the delivery process to the first days at home, which gave us a well-rounded understanding of what to expect. We especially appreciated the hands-on learning. We practiced changing diapers and swaddling a baby, which made us feel more prepared and less nervous about handling those first few days. Emily was instrumental in my breastfeeding journey. I don’t believe I could have established breastfeeding without her! She guided me through pumping/ breastfeeding, identified a tongue and lip tie, and referred us to the correct people to help us with our issues. She is so knowledgeable and truly cares about her clients. If breastfeeding is your goal, I highly recommend seeing Emily!
