We can't thank Borland Cabinetworks enough for turning our inbuilt wardrobe vision into a reality! Our two wardrobes ended up better than we could have imagined. The owner, Tom, spent many hours with us, listening to our ideas and taking our brief. He patiently adjusted the plans as needed and even measured our tallest shoe heights and dress lengths to ensure all shelf and drawer measurements were spot on. Tom is the most talented cabinetmaker I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He is incredibly attentive to detail and creative in design. He was able to achieve and better all of our ideas in the remodel of our kitchen and do so with full attention and reasonable timeliness. I would jump at the chance to work with Tom again!

As an architect, I look for a woodworker that can execute the design exactly the way it is intended by the design team and expected by the client. Every now and then you find someone who can do that. And in rarer circumstances, you find someone who can add to the design process by delivering the product on time and within a reasonable budget. Tom was a great help from design through construction. We loved his fresh ideas and suggestions that allowed us to "level up" to a much better design than what we had in mind. He was effective, efficient, neat and complete. Couldn't ask more from a contractor. Highly recommended.

I worked with Tom as an owners representative for a project my client wanted completed after purchasing a new co-op that was very drab and out-dated. The client along with her designer came up with an elaborate library shelving design that Tom made custom off site and installed while the client was away. There were many obstacles along the way such as the very old building being tough to get supplies and the cabinets themselves into the space.
