My mom had me stay here on Halloween night because being a college student and living on campus and having to be at work at 3am wasn't going to be a good combination. Once the sun went down so did the traffic and outside noise. Bed was comfy and I slept with my window cracked just a bit so I could hear that natural white noise from the ocean waves. Although it isn't anything fancy and about as basic as a hotel room can get, sometimes that is all a person needs! I wish I could stay here every weekend!
I stayed at the Borg's Ocean Front Motel when I was a teen with my parents that would have been in 1954 or so, then when my daughter was a teen we took her to The Borg's, in 1992 I took my second husband to The Borg's, I had to look this up on FB. So happy to see you still there. If you are visiting the Monterey area this is the place to stay, you think you are going to listen to the ocean for long time, then you fall asleep right away. It is wonderful...
Absolutely the perfect location!!! Not fancy, it's just a decent room that's clean. We've been staying at Borgs for over 18 years a couple times a year and we continue doing so because of the location! Management is super friendly as well!!
We have been going there for many years. Sometimes with the girlfriends and sometimes with the hubby. They have the best view of the ocean. Clean rooms close to shopping the aquarium and fine food everywhere

Really great people, beautiful views, close to lover's point and good coffee. We had such a great time
Pleasant Front Desk & Customer Service. Rooms are basic, but had what we needed: clean & warm, hot water, wi fi and coffee in the morning. Beautiful ocean view, you can hear the waves in the night. Our family came here often years ago so I add the extra plus of nostalgic memories.
