So it's a Thursday afternoon in August in Michigan. A nice day, weather is fantastic low 70's My wife has decided today was a good day to get a hospital visit for her constant pain from a infection and many other elements. We had a long wait.( we understand.) However what we are having a hard time understanding is why she wasn't addimitted to a room for the weekend to observe her condition?
Fastest hospital visit ever! Was DREADING potentially waiting in a waiting room for hours with my children. however i was very quickly seen, taken seriously about my concerns! Every nurse, doctor, and people working registration/billing were very kind and professional. Hospital was very noticeably clean! Was in and out of the hospital under 2 hours.
My problem with Ascension is the billing department. Being double billed I have called several times to get this resolved with no luck. I even sent a letter along with my receipt to show I paid. Tried setting up a meeting to go over this and no luck. 2 This is a second review This is a review about the emergency room and handling patients who come in needing a psych evaluation. Had taken my boyfriend here on due to chest pains, numbness in arms, legs and pretty much had no use of his motor skills and has pervious medical history with heart issues. He was completely out of it and we were told to wait in the waiting room for 3 hours. When we finally get back into the room and we didn't even get an official doctor we had spoken to 4 different doctors, 3 nurses and that's not even including the people that pulled him to run the tests. We went there for my husband to get factor replacement due to a head injury and the cafeteria gave me food poisoning. 🥲 Horrible hospital all around.
