I don't think that the doc said to Your friend eat up all 500mg Alprazolam (Xanax) in one day. If Your friend is addictive individual he/she should consider detox/rehab. 5-10 mg. Alprazolam per day as needed for anxiety wont kill you or get you hospitalized .Or he/she should consider instead of Xanax take Valium what has longer life as well wont give the high dependency .It Is the same like You would accuse grocery store for selling mouthwash cause your teen drank it and got drunk.
