I have mixed feelings about my experience with this company. On one hand, the technicians provided exceptional, friendly service and handled the actual work well. On the other hand, the administrative side left something to be desired when it came to my warranty details. we called them to go out and and they went they didn't check or do anything to our AC it was a female and a man they still charged us $140.00 for not doing anything Also the female tech that went into my home she took pictures of my dogs inside my home. Where they were at That is my safe place and she should not have been taking pictures of my home. I called the owner Eddie and he defended her as she didn't mean anything by it. I do not know that I do not know who she is and he hung up on me. Now I do not feel safe

I would recommend Border highly. Eddie and his crew installed a new ac system at my mother in laws house back in 2020. House had 6 window units and were running constant. After installing complete system, house in summer and winter is great. Since 2020, only had to call him out 3 times, once a few years ago to show my mother in law, who lived by herself, how to work the thermostat. (Courtesy call) And twice so far this year. I'd like to preface, this service or lack therof occurred for our business location. Homeowners and business owners should both be aware of what they might expect to receive. The field technicians seem knowledgeable and professional. I have no doubt in their ability to troubleshoot and repair issues and that should be noted. Office personnel and managers are another story which may lead you to days and weeks of waiting with no A/C all the while a different company could have been moving forward with you towards a solution. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Border Air. I originally purchased my AC unit from them and was told the unit was only a “couple of years old.” I understood that to mean around 2 years old. I also thought it was unusual that I was asked to pay cash because they did not accept card payments, but I agreed. Unfortunately, I have continued having issues with the unit, so I recently had a different AC company come out to inspect it.
