Borden Heating and Cooling installed a Fujitsu mini split with 1 air handler in our Living room and 1 air handler in our Master bedroom. Juan came out for the original consultation, took measurements, and gave his recommendations on what would fit our needs. The crew(Curtis & Austin) were professional and clean during the installation. The outside PVC covers were thoughtfully planned with nice straight lines. We are looking forward to enjoying our mini split.
They have a service charge of $175 which I was fine paying but they ended up charging me an extra $50 for travel time. Tech came and turned the power off to my heat pump to reset it. He was here for 40 mins but they charged me for an hour and a half.
My wife and I bought a house in Havertown, PA while living in California. My local parents informed me that the A/C was not working. My wife and I engaged with Borden as the unit is a Bosch and not all A/C companies service the brand. My wife gave the receptionist her credit card number and asked her to fix any issues and/or perform routine maintenance. We recently had our a/c and furnace replaced by Matthew Borden Heating & Cooling. Throughout the entire process, communication was clear, the workers were polite, and the job was completed in the amount of time predicted. From the time we assessed the need for a new system to the time it was installed, only a few days passed. We were relieved Borden was able to install the system before a big heat wave descended on the area.
