Unfortunately it has changed. No longer a "standing out" business, with the personal touches that Borcherding has provided over the years. I understand it has been sold. I will miss the quality that Borcherding provided for customer service. My work on the car was reasonable in price and professionally done. I hope the mechanics stay during this transition.
Difficult to work with in the buying process. Very poor communication, I felt like I was the one who had to keep tabs on things as opposed to the folks who were making money off of me buying a car. Then they cancelled my service appointments with no explanation and no help.
Avoid this dealership - Broken promises and zero follow-up since October I regret purchasing my vehicle from Borcherding Buick GMC. My experience started on a sour note during the sale when the finance department mismanaged communication with the GM regarding my wire transfer, resulting in being ignored while standing right in front of them. I made an appointment to see a nice used truck they had advertised online. I made it clear that if the truck was as good as it looked online, I was purchasing same day. When I arrived at the dealer no one knew what was going on. Turns out that the truck wasn't even on the lot, it was at some shop getting paint correction.
