I went here today looking TO BROWSE boots. The first gentleman that spoke to us just educated me on how the boots were organized, by brand then alphabetical. Then he left us alone, which was great. About 5 minutes later, I was approached by a salesman that asked what I do for a living, then proceeded to forcefully get me up buy. When I was asked what I'm looking for I said 'I'm not sure, I came here to look because I have time to figure that out'. I repeatedly said I'm here to LOOK. Customer service can make a drastic difference in how a customer feels when leaving a store, and unfortunately my most recent visit to Boot Barn was a mixed experience. I came in to exchange an item I had purchased online for a different size. When I walked in, I didn’t receive any greeting. I stood at the front counter while one associate was helping a customer. When I walked in I was not bombarded like other places with people wanting to help. After like 1 minute someone asked if I wanted help and the gentleman was very insightful, knew where everything was and took him about 30 seconds to find me the perfect boot! I love it and recommend it to anyone looking for good boots.
