Usually always great, unfortunately, you occasionally get an extremely think, icy smoothie with a lot of chucks fruit in it. If giving your young child a boost please open the lid and check first at this can be a major chocking hazard. The young girls that work there are amazing, always on task and very fast… maybe just a little too fast with the orders though and not letting them fully blend.
Really poor customer service. There were 7 people working at the carindale store on Saturday the 22nd and besides the 2 who were blending the others were just standing around talking. Despite making eye contact with several staff I was left standing at the counting waiting to order for some time. Eventually someone came to serve me. The others were not preparing fruit or drinks or washing up they were simply gossiping.
Here's a rewritten review: I'm disappointed with my recent purchase of Gym Junkie. The taste was unexpectedly bland and didn't match the flavor I've come to expect from this product. I wanted to report this inconsistency, hoping it was a one-time mistake.
I have food intolerances that make me incredibly ill, so I order the same smoothie every time. It tasted wrong, I could not work out why. Then I got a chunk of apple in my mouth. Apple can make me extremely ill for days. And when my IBS is triggered like this it can set of other conditions, including my spontaneous anaphylaxis. I can not stress how important it is to not get someone's order wrong.
Ran through Carindale with a child on my back and another in tow got there 5 minutes before they closed and the lady working wouldn't accept our order cause she didn't want to work until closing time. If you don't want to work til 5:30pm on weekdays take it up with boost, otherwise do your job. In terms of the actual product the girls love boost juice.
