There was a bit in the newspaper about this place this week. Not well written, but I was intrigued because I hadn't yet been. I spent $38.50 and filled up. Had a taste of the Kouign Amann. Salted butter croissant cup with a slight sugar glaze. Very rich, complex taste. I, then, purchased 7 of those, a chocolate croissant, a plain croissant, a ham and cheese croissant, a cheese danish, and a morning roll. I'm looking forward to this bounty.
A ton of people smoking outside. Says its open and its actually a construction site. Dont bother with this place, clearly not professional ownership
First time visiting and will definitely return. Not like anything you get elsewhere in the area. Pastries were delicious and employee (I'm guessing owner) was very kind. Only issue is would be nice if they had prices listed.
I came here in October 2020 and haven't stopped thinking about it since! I got a few treats and all were fantastic, but the best hands down were the croissants and the kouign amann. I managed to time my visit perfectly because the kouign amann were fresh out of the oven.. oh my goodness, it was amazing! Perfectly buttery, crispy, flaky, and oh so sweet. I have considered making the 9 hour drive back up to Dayton, just for the kouign amann!! I'll definitely be visiting when I'm in town for the April eclipse!
