The striking program is amazing. John Gesse is a great striking coach. He knows a lot but more importantly runs a great room and great community. His striking knowlage is top gear from boxing to mma and even Muay Thai he knows what he’s doing. Great Environment and very knowledgeable instructors. All the instructors have or are currently competing in Boxing,MMA, etc.
Without question the best MMA gym I've encountered. It's serious but fun with instructors who are both welcoming and skilled. I spent the summer there doing BJJ. I'm a total novice but that didn't matter: I was immediately welcome, learned a great deal, and left every day happily exhausted. The kindness and excellent instruction came not only from Israel and David but also from the other folks in the class. One of a kind place.
My wife has been training kick boxing and Muay Thai for about 15 years. I’ve never heard her complain about an instructor or a class, not once. She attended a class here during our vacation and reported the instructor was arrogant, aggressive, and condescending. At one point during their training, he kicked a bag she was holding so hard that it busted her lip and strained her neck.
