I was in town for work and ended up showing late for class fortunately Spencer let me stay for the App State Jiu Jitsu Club session. That class was fire. Liam puts on a great session. We did some Ashi Eco/CLA rounds and then got some really good rolls in. Really good training and cool people!
Great MMA gym. Very dedicated striking and jiu jitsu programs. The head striking coach John is a phenomenal teacher, both in class and in private lessons. Highly recommended.
The striking program is amazing. John Gesse is a great striking coach. He knows a lot but more importantly runs a great room and great community. His striking knowlage is top gear from boxing to mma and even Muay Thai he knows what he’s doing. As someone who was hesitant to try striking but loves jiu jitsu john really helped me get into and develop as a striker.
