6 years ago while vacationing on the beach, my wife took off her wedding ring to sunscreen our kids. She handed the ring to her mom and her mom put it in the pocket of her swim shorts. My mother in law forgot she had the ring in her pocket and went into the ocean, losing the ring forever. October 7 of this year will mark the 25th anniversary of our marriage. I came in because my wife lost her engagement ring and wedding band. Her birthday was in a week, so I went to replace it with a new ring as a surprise, but had trouble describing what the previous style looked like. What can I say about them? They were exactly as I had heard they would be - FANTASTIC!! Little bit of backstory - I lost my husband 6 1/2 yrs ago to a terminal disease - ALS - at the young age of 61.
