A pain specialist that doesn’t prescribe pain medications he instead told my mother she needed surgery and was all doom and gloom in that she may not make it through surgery. He has no bedside manner at all. An ego bigger than his concern for his patients.
I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. McLaren. He is very personable and caring. I am very grateful he was able to significantly reduce my pain.
Dr Book was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He knew the crux of my acute problem and preformed a minor surgical procedure, which took care of it and gave me immediate relief.

Dr. McLaren is an awesome doctor, plain and simple. He doesn't sugar coat things, but is thorough in his explanations and caring. He is one of the few doctors in Helena that I totally respect his opinions and protocols. I have recommended my friends and family, as well as some distant military friends to see Dr. McLaren. Dr. Wampler is a good primary care doctor. He is very good at referring to specialists. Slightly quick, but yet still thorough in his face to face exams.
She is the best. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Takes the time to listen and never rushes.
