RecommendedEverything is delicious! The atmosphere is comfy, friendly and has so many examples of talent and diversity. My grandson, Ryan, looks forward to visiting with Miss Tammy and he loves her brownies! I am so happy to have a wonderful place to share with my grandsons before or after we visit the library!😍

The Book and Bean is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and extraordinary drinks. This shop is a must have for coffee lovers and cafe goers!!!!
The Book and Bean provides a true coffee shop / cafe experience. Their coffee drinks are excellent, their bakery superb, and their sandwiches divine! I may be slightly biased, but I do know the cafe uses the freshest ingredients possible, and that great care is extended towards the preparation of your food. I must go to!
Mrs. Tammy, the owner, really takes time to know her customers. Her food and treats are her homemade recipes and are never a disappointment. Today she made me a special drink which catered to my dietary needs, and it blew me away. Such a wonderful environment.
Tammy is the best - and so is her vanilla chai latte (made dairy-free just for me!)!
A special GEM tucked in Joliet Black Rd Library. Fresh ingredients, home made soups. Chicken noodle soup that is good for your soul. And these people know how to make specialty coffees! Kid tested, Mommy approved! We are regulars!
