Tried to make an appt to see her as my new therapist since my insurance switched. She informed me my insurance would cover. Turns out it would not. Went to an appt scheduled in person. Which she spent about 25-30 minutes trying to 'figure my insurance out'. Then met with me breifly. The rest of the appt was basically a weird mix of her asking me about my disablity money that I don't have yet, and telling me to not read any books or do any personal mental health work on my own. She's the best! With me personally and my wife and I.
I saw Dawn on account of a free visit offered by my workplace, and i was struggling hard. She listened to me, took notes, appeared empathic, and remembered nothing of what we discussed on our second visit. It was a waste of my time and made me feel stupid.
