Just a wonderful place to relax in to. Just a wonderful place to relax in to. They have so many great flavors in here. I love this place because this is just a simple place, you just order and relax throughout your stay.

They make their ice cream from a POWDERED MIX – I asked for an ingredients list and discovered that they make their ice cream from a powdered mix. I do not call that "homemade ice cream." Go ahead and ask for a list in ingredients. (In the state of Colorado any place that serves food is required to give you a list of ingredients if you ask for it.) It seems to me that the advertising slogan "We make it here!" that they have displayed on their awnings, while it may be true, is also deceiving.
Solid, but not worth waiting an hour for. Bonnie Brae is a solid ice cream shop with an excellent reputation, which means it's ridiculously busy sometimes. I've seen lines that stretched half a block to get into this place on some summer nights, and I think that's going too far. There's not much you can say about an ice cream shop. Amazing! This ice cream is one of the best! It is always packed in the summers, with the line out the door but the wait is well worth it! Fresh made waffle cones a definite plus! A wide variety of flavors, bound to find one you like.
Bliss... Bonnie Brae's ice cream is the real deal--rich and creamy. The menu is packed with choices that range from the ordinary to the unique. Go on a warm evening and eat your ice cream at the tables out front. My favorite is the fresh strawberry and my daughter's is the mint chocolate chip. For those limiting their intake of fat and calories, there are a few choices like lemon or pineapple sorbet.
MMMMM.... Melt in your mouth goodness I love this neighborhood treat! Homemade Ice cream in a wide variety of flavors. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. The interior is very reminicent of an old Mom and Pop store and they have wonderful outside seating. It is located on University and they have excellent pricing.
Best homemade ice cream Best homemade ice cream around the area. The line is usually out the door on summer evenings. You can ride your bike there from Wash Park. There is a nice dinner place across the street and we finish it off with ice cream. It's on a busy street and the parking is horrible.
