Excellent Sushi! This is a great japanese restaurant in a random shopping center in Collegeville, PA. They have excellent "bento box" lunches to take out and the price is more than reasonable. I enjoy their sushi specials. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and the service is great. I took a large group there and was able to be served quickly and everyone enjoyed their food (even the non-sushi eaters, who were able to find something to satisfy them).
Just go This is the best thing to happen to Collegeville ever. The design is so very true to creating a nice exotic relaxing atmosphere. The management and staff are always curitious, and attentive as well as friendly. Everything there is clean and neat-which I enjoy when dinning. The sushi is TO DIE FOR..great sushi bar, great selections, and amazing quality!! Their menu is vast-though I fail to ever go and not order heaps of sushi. Over done... I was so excited when Bonjung opened...it is only 5 minutes from my house. We ate there three times total. And while all of the side items were very good, I feel like they over do it with their sushi rolls...too many ingredients, too many rolls with spicy sauce. I like rolls to be interesting but I would like to still be able to taste the fish, when the ingredients over power the fish then I think you've taken a good thing too far.I have to say their kids menu is fantastic though! Best suburban Japanese we've had Bonjung is excellent. Their sushi and sashimi is clean and fresh and everything we've tried is both delicious and artfully presented. I wasn't expecting a Korean section on the menu but was happy to see it! I highly recommend Bonjung
The Best Sushi I've ever tasted! – I've never been to Japan or the West Coast, but I've up and down the East Coast. I've been in urban sushi bars and it took a town outside of Philadelphia to convince me. Bonjung has the best sushi I've ever tasted. Fresh, generously cut, so good! The restaurant is absolutely charming, you would never expect it from the outside. If you're near Philadelphia, venture out of the city and go to this restaurant, it's well worth the trip.
