it is unfortunate that 4 months after death my MIL still has no death certificate. calls have not been returned from the funeral director. next step is to contact Florida licensing board and get legal advice. absolutely awful experience for someone who just lost their significant other. Can’t help but think that it is because she is older that they do not respond and can’t be bothered.
Mr. Shikany was a big help for me losing my husband after a brief illness. He and his team were professional and available for any questions that I had. They were very compassionate and accommodating for all my needs. I am a geriatric nurse and would call Mr. Shikany when one of my residents would pass and he has shown dedication and kindness for my 22 years at the Assisted Living I was managing.
