Took out of town guests for what we thought would be a nice Sunday brunch. Seated right away...minimally busy at most. Took our order. An hour later after several attempts to get our waitress (and reassurance that our food would be out shortly), we still had no food so decided to leave. Tried to track down wait staff to at least pay for the drinks we did have. Even asked the bartender if she could help us....told me I'd have to talk to our waitress....who I couldn't find. food and service were excellent. atmosphere was great. will definitely be going back
Do not sit at the bar if you want service, lots of management standing around.
Don't waste your money here. Family of 4 went to dinner on 1/12/13 and waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive, cold, burnt, and out-right gross. Visit another Axel's location because they are better than average -- just not in Mankato.
