Went in for new bunks on my trailer and aqua foils on the outboard, glad I got the wiring done too. If your a complainer then probably shouldn't have a boat or do it yourself. I can't complain. Was in and out with lots of time to.spare for nice weather. Up sold me on a keel gaurd. But In their defense I did need on or some type of gel coating / fiber glass work. Great service. Thank you for taking care of my boat. The owner was great and very helpful.
Stay far away from this shop! I was told they could get my boat in and fix it right away but then they ignored all my calls and message. Finally after 3 weeks I called from another number and got through. 6 weeks and $3000 later I was told my boat was ready but right after I put it in the water it broke down. I decided to take it to another boat repair shop where I was told that most of the work that bonefish invoiced me for was not actually done (such as a carb rebuild). It was just one lie after another. Stay away!
I vote he should rename the business to BONEHEAD marine pretty sure he has no business working on people’s boats unless you want to get stranded out on the lake after he tells you it’s good to go. I’d go zero stars if it would let me also he doesn’t like discussing the bill and what you paid for and if you call it mediocre work he hangs up and has no reasonable explanation on what he did or breaks please save you self the head ache and go anywhere but there sylvan lakers beware. BOO Brendan do better.
My experience with Bonefish for a new 4.3L longblock engine was a year-long nightmare. The boat, returned for misfires after the initial install, kept having the same issue after multiple repair attempts. Over the course of a year, the boat was in and out of the shop, racked up an unnecessary $900 charge for a new fuel pump, and returned with oil and water leaks, a disconnected alarm wire, and a damaged propeller.
