Dr. Ferachi did a wonderful job repairing my back, but it is very disappointing that I can’t get a simple Nexus letter to give the VA, since my injury originally occurred while in service. As many veterans know, this letter is crucial for applying for VA disability and when someone refuses to spend a few minutes that can make the difference between receiving VA disability or not, it’s very disheartening. I was sent here 30 years ago with a dislocated elbow and shattered radius head bone. I had to have microscopic surgery to the elbow but Dr. Gerald Murtaugh and staff were the best a scared teenage young lady could have, thanks to them this right arm is still functioning well to needless to say I'm also right-handed.
Major changes effective April 1, 2025. Now Baton Rouge Orthopedic. Doctors Broyles, Hess, Macoh Schroeder will continue seeing patients at the Hennessey location throughout the summer, but will be moving to Baton Rouge Orthopedic, 8080 Bluebonnet Blvd # 1000, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 location. Other doctors are moving to various locations. I found most of the other doctors are going to be at either Ochner Orthopedic.
