James Bonds has been my internist for three years, going on four. My preference is for a physician that treats me like and equal and as smart as he is. Always takes the time to answer my questions, provide background information, and give thorough explanations. He is very concerned about cost and unnecessary procedures/tests. Dr. Bonds can be very businesslike and might come off as brusque, but he truly cares about his patients. He assured me that if I was in the hospital he would take care

Dr. Bonds, while seemingly knowledgeable, was extremely dismissive of my symptoms. He ran preliminary testing, which came back normal, then had a nurse call to say everything was normal but here's a prescription - without giving a diagnosis. They had to ask him; he said autonomic dysfunction, but couldn't say which type and refused to run further tests or refer me to an endocrinologist for an actual diagnosis rather than treating my symptoms. He also only takes cash or check.

Fantastic doc who really cares about his patients. He is always willing to take the time to address any health issues. I have never had a better doc.

James is a great doctor. He is easy to talk to and always takes the time I need to talk, but never wastes my time. Easy & typically quick appointments. When I'm sick, and I need to see my Dr ... he makes time for me. My highest praise.

My wife and I moved to Bryan 3 1/2 years ago. I used the internet to review every doctor that was within my medical insurance coverage and chose Dr. Bonds. We have both been exceptionally happy with Dr. Bonds, our best doctor ever! When we have a problem, appointments can be made on a very timely basis. Most important, Dr. Bonds takes the time to discuss your current problem and your overall health. He takes the time to answer any questions you have and provides thorough, understandable answers.

I think she is absolutely wonderful. Saved my life and did it with professionalism and integrity. She is very straight forward, doesn't mince words or prognosis. She has an absolute belief in her abilities that conveys to her staff.

Terrible bedside mannerism. Defensive, argumentative, reluctant to answer any questions, egotistical, impatient, does not spend much time with her patients. Staff is rude and unorganized.
