I had a take out order and the service was good, but the wings tasted like they cooked them two days ago, reheated them and gave them to me. I won’t be going back.
The Convoy location is the only Bonchon I’ll go to from now on. I ordered the Soy Garlic wings and Cole slaw from Convoy this past Friday and they were so fresh and delicious. So I went to the location that I live closer to, Bonchon Village, and ordered the same Soy Garlic wings and Cole slaw, what a waste of money. Those wings were night and day. If you've had better fried chicken in San Diego, I'd like to know where. Because this place has really good fried chicken.
Amazing service and one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve ever had. The food was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the entire experience enjoyable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!”
The servers here were not very welcoming. We were seated, but no one came to ask if we were ready to order or explain whether we needed to order at the counter. The staff seemed more focused on their phones, texting and taking pictures, than on helping customers. However, the food was good, which is the reason for the higher rating. I hope the customer service improves because the food itself was enjoyable.
