Been going to bonchon for about 6-8 months, once a month using my Amex uber credit here. I always get the tenders, some time between last month and this month they’ve gone from tenders to nuggets. Still taste amazing but the portion size is literally half now.
The food is good, but the service is not. We came in with seven people, and I asked for a specific table that would be roomy enough for all of us. Instead, they squeezed us into a table for six. I mentioned twice that I’d prefer the other table and they completely ignored me like I said nothing at all. We were also on separate bills, but they put a 20% gratuity automatically on each of our bills so we couldn’t even protest how we were treated by giving a smaller tip.
Great little Korean restaurant. I had the bulgogi and it was spot on.
Just had Bonchon for the first time today and it was fantastic! The fried chicken was cooked perfectly, crunchy outside, juicy inside and the pieces are huge compared to most wing places! I will be back for sure!
