I really wanted to love the food here. The ambiance is wonderful. I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap with a side of kimchi. It looked and smelled wonderful. However, the rice was far too crispy to enjoy and the bulgogi was mostly gristle. That and paying 3.50 for a tiny side of kimchi is wild. I’ve never had to pay for kimchi with bibimbap before. Don’t waste your money.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Bonchon Chicken absolutely deserves the hype. Their food is super tasty—crispy, flavorful, and seriously addictive. The Korean fried chicken is on another level: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that soy garlic glaze? Unreal. Every bite is full of bold flavor.
