What’s not to love about this place? Diverse, creative menu superbly prepared. Excellent service in a casual environment with reasonable prices. I had the short rib fricassee on one visit and the next day I came back for redfish with satsuma creole meunière sauce and braised greens with Tasso ham. Excellent! And the huge piece of bananas foster bread pudding was delicious also.

Bon Temps Grill was a fun, off the beaten track restaurant with plenty of character and good food. My friend and I enjoyed each other immensely. I will have to take my husband to it on my next visit to Lafayette to have the boudin and sausage board.

Was I town for my sons wedding. The hotel recommended this place to ea at. It was the best food I have eaten in a long time. There was 9 in our group and we had a very short wait. Recommend everyone to eat here.

Poor guest services after disappointing carry out. After one bad carry out experience (smaller portions & substituted items) I gave them a second chance. Again, portion size dropped by 2/3 for a $15 salad and undercooked chicken. After calling and speaking to a mangager (after en employees rudely transferred me in middle of my explanation), the manager sounded “busy” and did not explain or offer any real guarantee of a better experience but quickly asked if I wanted money back or comp coupons. Oh my, the shrimp with jalapeño cheese grits is so excellent. We dipped everything we could find into that sauce! My pasta! Bits of my brother's etouffee pot pie! We loved everything. And the shared a piece of bananas Foster bread pudding between the three of us. Perfectly delicious!

Very friendly staff! Yesterday was my first time eating there but definitely won't be the last!! Food was really good and they made sure if you were out of your drink that they ask you if you wanted a refill. Not very many restaurants do that any more!! I usually have to ask for the refill.

We returned for our 4th visit, this time with out of town guests and again everything was stellar. Stellar customer service, atmosphere, selection and MOST importantly - phenomenal dishes.
