On 9-27-24, my tongue started bleeding badly from complications of a surgery I had a week earlier. My wife drove me to the ER in Emporia. The doctors and nurses went to work immediately. They were professional and knew what they were doing. I was losing so much blood I truly thought I was not going to make it. They put me under anesthesia, so I don't know everything they did, but they stopped the bleeding and sent me to VCU by ambulance. On 9-27-24 my mouth tongue started bleeding very badly due to complications from a surgery a week earlier. My wife drove me to the ER in Emporia. They took me in immediately and started helping. Honestly, I was losing so much blood I did not think I was going to survive. I don't know who was on duty that night but the doctors and nurses were very calm and professional.
