While I’m not a fan of the layout, I’ve always had great experiences with the clinical staff. It’s concerning that the layout only utilizes a curtain to separate you from other patients receiving their own infusions. You can easily hear conversations between other patients and clinical staff, including demographic verification (verifying their name, DOB) and other demographics after being prompted by the staff. Bon Secours Mercy Health preaches patient privacy, but this layout absolutely is a HIPAA violation.
spent 3 hours calling during business hours and never had someone answer the phone
The nurse was great but the check-in staff was AWFUL. I was just there for a blood draw and had another treatment there in the same building before my blood draw appointment. However I was told specifically to go ahead and check in for the blood draw early and they would fit me in. So I go to check in with the lady at the front desk and explain the situation about how I was told to check in early and they would try to fit me in.
