I was seen by Dr Margarita Cross at the Powdersville office for a visit due to ongoing complications from a December car wreck. My visit was in January and the experience with her was great. However, I secured a lawyer prior to the visit as the wreck was not my fault. My visits to Anmed and Prisma were easy and both facilities communicated with my lawyer about my health and the billing. March 18, 2026, I was taken emergency to ER. The care was great and timely CT, labs ,medicine, comfort. The Dr was awesome. I think her. Ame is E Gahlan? It's misspelled. My apologies. I was stabilized, referred to a Specialist and given prescriptions and instructions.
Bon Secours downtown hospital is an old hospital and needs to add another hospital tower with new facilities and more beds. Greenville has a shortage of 110 beds for its hospitals. It is amazing not to see new hospitals being constructed from both hospital systems in Greenville. The letter of need needs to be submitted to dept of health for new hospitals. The new Novant hospital is just a specialty orthopedic hospital.
This is our hospital of choice. Everyone is kind and considerate. It doesn’t hurt that they have a brand new ER. We much prefer Bon Secour over Prisma. They seem focused on the money.
The staff at the outpatient imaging is very helpful and knowledgeable. I had an CT scan and the technicians there were attentive to my needs with my swollen leg. When looking at other places to have future imaging done, I will definitely return to Bon Secours in Downtown Greenville.
