I'm picky and I love their chicken poboy. I drive all the way from arkansas for one also to visit family but mainly for Bon Creole.
I love the chicken and sausage gumbo, fried catfish and burgers are good also. You will not be disappointed with the food !!!
I took my family there last July while visiting New Iberia. Best Po Boy I ever had. My family loved. A perfect stop off for lunch after visiting the Tabasco Factory at Avery Island. I loved it so much it inspired me to start a YouTube channel when we got home. I filmed several reviews while on vacation and included Bon Creole Seafood on my channel. If you want a Po- boy with plenty of shrimp, oysters, crawfish, whatever, this is the place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. they do have different lunch specials. They have stayed open during this pandemic to serve their community anyway they can. I asked if they had a half fish half shrimp basket and I was told, "if that's what you want, we'll make it."
