Purchased a low mileage vehicle from Bolt. Powertrain malfunction light came on within 50 miles of leaving the dealership and the car was in limp mode. After a service station pulled the codes, four different shops told me my best option was to scrap the car for $200. I reached out to Bolt with no response and ended up finding a mechanic willing to fix the car. In the end, it cost me over $6000 to keep the vehicle out of the salvage yard. Dealer is a nice guy but was not a good choice for someone on a budget.

Very good initial first impressions, awful results. Some of this is my fault, I was in desperate need of a cheap car and I really didn’t need anything special, so I only gave it one quick little test drive before driving it and really didn’t inspect it close enough.
