I had a tri tip BBQ sandwhich and it was great! My husband had a steerburger! It's a HOMEMADE BURGER not pre-made like other fast food places...There BBQ beans were great!
GREAT FOOD!!! GREAT FOOD!!! Service was ok but they only had two witresses so understandable for the whole resturant! I like they had your "fixin's" on the table which made for less request from waitress.
We went to this resturant after having a massage because the place we were going across the street was closed. So we thought we'd try it out! I'm SO HAPPY we did!!! Great comfort food and has a huge selection of beer on tap. ENJOY!

I like this place for sentimental reasons. Before all these fancy gourmet burger joints popped up everywhere, Boll Weevil was the king of burgers in San Diego. For a decent burger and a throwback (70's-80's) atmosphere, Boll Weevil is the place to go.
