I won't be back I am so disappointed. Bolete used to be my favorite restaurant and we used to speak very highly of it and tell everyone to go there, but it is really changing. Perhaps they got a little notoriety and it went to their heads? I don't know. I do know that I will not return. Some of the food is really very good, some fair. Their prices are too high and in some cases misleading and a downright ripoff (do NOT ever get the wine pairing with the chef's tasting menu!). Amazing food in Fountain Hill Bolete is a wonderful restaurant in little ole Fountain Hill, would you believe! Amazing food, great staff, wonderful decor and fantastic wine. My husband and I had the oysters and tuna for starters and the seabass and steak for main, with the cheese platter and decaf coffee to end our meal, AMAZING! I totally recommend the oysters, and French Pinot Noir red wine which was as smooth as silk going down! This restaurant is now officially my favorite restaurant!
