Had a stillbirth at St Alphonsus in April 2024. Paid all of the bills we received. In February 2025, we got notice from a collections agency that our anesthesia bill (which was never sent to us) had been turned over for non-payment. Spent the last year and a half fighting with this company and our insurance to be reimbursed on a covered service that Boise Anesthesia chose to FINAL NOTICE us on the first bill without ever sending it to us. Received a bill, selected a 6 month payment plan for $38 a month. Two months and two payments later I’m getting an “account past due, going to send to collections” for the full amount. I called and asked why I’m getting an account past due when I’ve made two payments already. They said because I am not making the minimum payment of $50 a month. If that’s the minimum payment or you’re going to collections then why did they allow me to select $38 a month as an option. Out of fear of my account going to collections for another ... read more
